Founded in 2000 by Anne and Gilles Brun in Saint Rémy de Provence, the Moulin du Calanquet relaunched the olive on its common activity that was off for over 40 years. Five generations in the farming community, the attachment to the land, respect for family values and traditions and incredible dynamism are the foundations of the company.

Le Moulin du Calanquet has a grove of more than 10,000 feet, which were planted in 1997. It consists of traditional regional varieties: Aglandau, Salonenque, Grossane, Verdale and Picholine. Its specificity is to produce single variety olive oils in addition to an assembly. This orientation allows to discover the many flavors and aromas of each variety to be able to associate them with different dishes.

Its name comes from the Provençal word Calanquet "calan" who is a rock in which to shelter from the Mistral. Strongly rooted in the traditions of Provence, the Calanquet Mill is also a model of modernity. It uses all the advanced techniques for its production, in line with European standards of food safety and hygiene.
